| The World, the true World, the World as it really
is, the World as it was before Perception, the World as it will be
after Perception has passed away, is unnamed, undefined, uncounted,
unmeasured, not compared, not united, and undivided. Only Perception
names, defines, counts, measures, compares, unites, and divides. In
the absence of Perception there is no naming, defining, counting,
measuring, comparing, uniting, or dividing. And while the products
of Perception cannot affect the World they can make us believe that
they are the World. For this we regard Perception with deep suspicion.
Perception does not have the right, the power, or the authority to
name the World so in fact the World is unnamed. Perception takes it
upon itself to state and set forth the meaning of things. It elects
itself to explain and identify the nature and essential qualities
of the World. |

A Pure Sensation is a very real and potent experience. Yet within it there is no
naming, defining, counting, measuring, comparing, uniting, or dividing. The World
does not need to be named, defined, counted, measured, compared, united, or divided.
Unless Perception does these things the World is forever unnamed, undefined, uncounted,
unmeasured, not compared, not united, and undivided. Perception does not understand
that any name it devises and projects at an object remains a part of Perception and
cannot be attached to the object. Our names mean nothing to the objects we apply them
to. When Perception states or sets forth the meaning of the World it does not affect
the World. What is not defined is unbounded. Before Perception not the World or anything
in it was counted. Objects that are not counted are not many or few.
